HRS service honoured again

HRS has been awarded an overall rating of "good" in an industry analysis of hotel booking portals by rating website Ausgezeichnet.org. The analysis was based on online customer satisfaction. Europe's leading hotel portal scored particularly well in the service category, receiving a rating of “very good”. HRS was commended in particular for its positive attitude towards customer feedback and queries and for proactively inviting users to submit their evaluations via feedback buttons. The testers also praised the hotel booking portal's website, especially the attractive slideshow on its homepage and the fast hotel searches. The ability to sort hotels according to discounts and HRS recommendations as well as the offer comparison function were considered particularly appealing. HRS also scored points for the many helpful extras it offers its customers, such as its free app, a travel comparison function and car rental search, together with 24-hour telephone support and a speedy email service.

HRS awarded ‘Best Hotel Booking Agent in Europe’

HRS, Europe’s leading hotel portal, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Best Hotel Booking Agent in Europe’ award at the 2013 MICE Report Awards. Announced annually by leading UK business travel magazine, The MICE Report, the awards recognise excellence and outstanding distinction in the meetings, incentive and business travel industry. The awards were decided by over 6,000 readers, who voted for HRS. The prestigious jury was highly impressed by the sophisticated customer service that HRS offers each client. Also, its savvy approach to pricing was a key factor given the importance of value for money in today’s economic climate.

HRS comes out on top for service

The German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) tested nine hotel portals in respect of service performance and conditions on behalf of news broadcaster n-tv. HRS came out on top in the survey for service and demonstrated the best performance in the sector in terms of both telephone contact and its website. HRS scored highly with the very extensive and easy to understand information on its homepage. Intuitive navigation made it easy to find the information. When booking, customers received a thorough explanation of the taxes included in the price. The individual booking steps were presented clearly and there were no price increases for any of the hotel enquiries during the booking process. The testers found the telephone advisers to be friendly and very capable.

HRS test winner at "Clever reisen!"

The editorial team of "Clever reisen" tested eight hotel portals and chose HRS as the winner in their current edition 4.12. Above all, they were persuaded to choose HRS on the criteria of price and clarity. Another positive highlight was that all taxes and fees were already included in the overall price.

Customer satisfaction award

HRS has been named as the number one hotel portal in the 2012 Service Champions rankings. Competing against twelve other hotel portals, HRS came out on top and scored top marks for customer service. HRS also received the "Service Champions Gold" seal of quality, awarded to the 100 most service-oriented companies in the overall ranking. Every year, Service Champions, Germany's biggest service ranking body, evaluates over 1,000 companies across more than 100 industries from the customer's perspective. Almost one million customer assessments are included in the evaluations. Service Champions is an initiative of analysis company Service Value GmbH, the Goethe University in Frankfurt and daily newspaper DIE WELT.

HRS picks up Business Traveller Award 2012

The readers of business travel magazine "Business Traveller" have made their choice and voted HRS the best travel service provider website for business travellers. HRS has now received the Business Traveller Award for eight years in a row. A total of 15 prizewinners were announced in five categories.

HRS is one of the 25 most customer-focused service providers in Germany. HRS did particularly well in the categories Quality of Advice and Ensuring Service Quality, while also scoring highly for cost effectiveness. Also, an above-average number of the customers surveyed said they would recommend HRS to their friends and colleagues. To cap things off, the jury awarded HRS the special prize for the travel industry.

"Stiftung Warentest" gives HRS an overall rating of "good"

In its latest test, the much-respected German consumer organisation "Stiftung Warentest" studied seven hotel booking portals and five price comparison portals. HRS was one of only two booking portals to obtain the overall grade "good". HRS did particularly well in the main categories "Booking", "Hotel Information" and "Website". The testers singled out the very simple booking process and unproblematic hotel cancellation feature for special praise. They also found that HRS had the best hotel search function of all the booking portals tested. Moreover, HRS's results display was alone in impressing the testers, with its variety of sorting options and detailed information on the hotels.

HRS wins Mobile Innovation Award

At the 12th "Mobile Communications – Technologies, Markets, Applications" conference (MCTA 2012), organised by the University of Augsburg and IT association "Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V.", HRS won the Mobile Innovation Award for its iPhone app. The award was judged on the grounds of innovation, originality and conceptual quality. The expert panel was impressed by the well-designed overall package and the successful combination of cutting-edge features such as augmented reality, social media, rating and Click2Call.
